Metal Sign Fabrication

Here are some shots of a sign we recently completed.  This was built from regular mild steel, the backdrop was powder coated black while the letters were sanded to silver and finished with a clear powder coat.  The sign construction was entirely bolted in order to powder coat all the steel used 360 degrees.  This allows the finish to be applied while the sign is unbolted, giving the powder coat appliers full access to the individual pieces of steel.  

Below is a shot of the letters before they were sanded to a silvery finish.  The heat marks seen on the face of the letters are from TIG welding the studs onto the back side.  The studs are what hold the letters onto the black backdrop.
